Leaked Obama Plan To Fight Election-Day Meddling Included ‘Martial Law’

Former US President Barack Obama has been criticized by both Republicans and fellow Democrats for withholding information about Russia’s alleged interference in the US presidential election – criticism that has only intensified since President Donald Trump triumphed over Democrat Hillary Clinton in the November election.

Now, in yet another troubling sign that the Obama administration believed outside hacking groups posed a significant threat to the election, Time magazine reports that his administration had devised a detailed plan to fend off any cyberattaks that sought to falsify vote totals during the election. Obama has been criticized for not informing the American people about hacking attemps allegedly carried out by Russia-linked groups for fear of “rocking the boat” and damaging Clinton’s chances of victory.

Spyin’ Lyin’ Susan Rice Backs Out Of Congressional Testimony, Second Last Minute Cancellation In A Week

Former National Security Advisor Susan Rice has abruptly canceled a Tuesday appearance in front of the House Intelligence Committee to discuss allegations that she requested the ‘unmasking‘ of various members of the Trump campaign on behalf of the Obama administration.

Rice’s cancellation comes on the heels of another nix’d testimony from Glenn Simpson – the former Wall St. Journal reporter who co-founded opposition research firm Fusion GPS – which was responsible for an embarrassingly amateur and largely debunked 35-page Trump-Russia ‘dossier’ used as evidence to request a FISA surveillance warrant on a Trump associate.

More Obama Officials Scrutinized In ‘Unmasking’ Probe

The number of people thought to be involved in the alleged “unmasking” of American citizens under the Obama administration could be expanding, according to a source close to the House Intelligence Committee’s review.

The source with knowledge of the review told Fox News the records suggest the unmasking “goes beyond” key officials like former National Security Adviser Susan Rice, former CIA Director John Brennan and former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Samantha Power.

The source said more than a half-dozen former senior Obama administration officials are now of interest to House committee investigators.

Five Problems With U.S. Intel Agencies’ Report On Russia ‘Interference’

In recent days, the New York Times and the Associated Press clarified that three major U.S. intelligence agencies – and not 17, as the news agencies repeatedly reported – assessed that Russia attempted to interfere in the 2016 presidential election.

While the U.S. Intelligence Community is indeed made up of 17 agencies, the actual January 6, 2017 U.S. Intelligence Community report alleging Russia interference was the product of only three – the FBI, CIA and National Security Agency.

In its clarification, the Times wrote that the Russia interference conclusion was drawn by “four intelligence agencies” – including James Clapper’s Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which issued the January 6 report although its conclusions were not included in the report itself.

At the time of the assessment, the FBI was led by James Comey, who was fired following controversy over his handling of Hillary Clinton’s email probe, and the CIA was headed by Barack Obama appointee John Brennan.

Below are five significant issues with the official assessment as compiled by the CIA, FBI and NSA (and not 17 agencies) regarding alleged Russia interference.

Susan Rice Agrees To Testify Before House Intelligence Panel

The House intelligence committee plans to interview Susan Rice next month as part of its investigation into Russia meddling in the US election last year, a high-profile target for Republicans who accuse President Barack Obama’s former national security adviser of improperly handling classified intelligence reports, according to sources familiar with the private talks.

President Donald Trump and Republicans have focused on allegations that Rice revealed the names of Trump’s transition aides in intelligence reports — called “unmasking” — saying that Obama officials were seeking to divulge damaging information about the Trump campaign.

Susan Rice Unmasking Documents to Be ‘Locked Up’ in Obama Library for Next 5 Years

Get in here deep staters and explain yourselves.

Do you remember when Rep. Nunes found out some information about the unmasking of key Trump personnel during and after the elections, which tossed former National Security Advisor, Susan Rice, on the barbie?

It was believed that Rice had some vital information that could shed some light on who Obama was spying on and why. The fact that Trump was, in fact, unmasked raised questions as to the veracity of the ‘incidental’ intelligence claims. Well, if you were hoping for Susan Rice to pay for her sins, exposing Obama to potential criminal charges for spying on Trump — too bad fuckers — that’s not going to happen.

See, the information is now locked up in the Obamas library and will not be released for another 5 years. Why is this the case? No one really knows, other than the fact that it’s in there and it is impossible to get out.

Obama NSC Advisor Susan Rice’s Unmasking Material Is At Obama Library

Judicial Watch today announced that the National Security Council (NSC) on May 23, 2017, informed it by letter that the materials regarding the unmasking by Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice of “the identities of any U.S. citizens associated with the Trump presidential campaign or transition team” have been removed to the Obama Library.

The NSC will not fulfill an April 4 Judicial Watch request for records regarding information relating to people “who were identified pursuant to intelligence collection activities.”

The agency also informed Judicial Watch that it would not turn over communications with any Intelligence Community member or agency concerning the alleged Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election; the hacking of DNC computers; or the suspected communications between Russia and Trump campaign/transition officials. Specifically, the NSC told Judicial Watch:

Documents from the Obama administration have been transferred to the Barack Obama Presidential Library.  You may send your request to the Obama Library.  However, you should be aware that under the Presidential Records Act, Presidential records remain closed to the public for five years after an administration has left office.

Judicial Watch’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) April 4 request sought:
