Judicial Watch: Mueller Probe Is A Political Effort To Jail Trump And His Family

President of Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton is one of the loudest voices calling for the end of the Mueller probe. He says the probe is out of control, unsupervised and unconstitutional.

In a recent interview with The Daily Signal, Fitton said the Mueller probe is “a political effort to jail the president and his family because people don’t like him.” Fitton is absolutely correct. The Democrats will not stop until Trump, his family members and people in his administration are put in jail.

Fitton also said, “Sessions should un-recuse himself and get rid of Mueller.”

Fired FBI Director, Comey admitted to leaking memos to the press to prompt a special counsel, so why is this investigation still going? Mueller has to go!

IT BEGINS: POTUS Legal Team Readying BATTLE PLAN Against OUT OF CONTROL Mueller Probe

Tensions between President Trump and Special Counsel Robert Mueller are heating up.

In a New York Times interview, the President warned Mueller would be crossing a red line if his family’s finances were probed. Bloomberg came out with a report today, outlining Mueller’s plan to investigation the Trump Organization. The Washington Post now claims that President Trump’s legal team are exploring ways to “scale back” Mueller’s investigation. This is great news, considering many believe Mueller is not an independent arbiter of the investigation and is abusing his power by investigating trivial business transactions.

Mueller’s Investigation Must Be Limited And Accountable

How much goalpost moving should be tolerable in the Trump-Russia collusion investigation?

Remember, we started with an allegation that the Trump campaign may have been complicit in the Putin regime’s “cyber-espionage”—i.e., the hacking our intelligence agencies have concluded that Russian government operatives carried out against email accounts tied to Democrats. The investigation took a more serious turn last week, when it was revealed that Trump campaign officials met in June 2016 with a suspected emissary of the Putin regime. Yet, there is currently no basis to believe that meeting had anything to do with hacking. So, while the meeting warrants investigation, the original allegation is no closer to being proved.

Of course, it is certainly possible for a political campaign and a foreign government to engage jointly in unsavory behavior that does not rise to the level of crime. The less objectionable the behavior, however, the further afield we would be from the egregious allegation that prompted the investigation in the first place. Unless one is a rank partisan whose goal is to damage the president (rather than hold him accountable for actual, significant wrongdoing), this should be a matter of concern. Investigations are debilitating. They erode an administration’s ability to govern.

Is Russiagate Really Hillarygate?

According to an insider account, the Clinton team, put together the Russia Gate narrative within 24 hours of her defeat. The Clinton account explained that Russian hacking and election meddling caused her unexpected loss. Her opponent, Donald Trump, was a puppet of Putin. Trump, they said, “encourages espionage against our people.” The scurrilous Trump dossier, prepared by a London opposition research firm, Orbis, and paid for by unidentified Democrat donors, formed a key part of the Clinton narrative: Trump’s sexual and business escapades in Russia had made him a hostage of the Kremlin, ready to do its bidding. That was Hillary’s way to say that Trump is really not President of the United States—a siren call adopted by the Democratic party and media.

Trump Has Selected An Excellent, Respected New FBI Director, And That Should Matter

In today’s environment of dizzying, whirling news cycles, it’s occasionally imperative to hit the ‘pause’ button and circle back to assess fresh developments to previous collective freakouts.  When President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, which was entirely within his legal authority, many critics raged that he was sacking the man in charge of investigating his campaign’s alleged relationship with Russia — worrying that he would replace Comey (against whom many of them had also railed, by the way) with a yes man.  My analysis at the time was to acknowledge legitimate potential causes for concern while cautioning that a wait-and-see approach was in order.  I argued that the things that would ultimately matter most were (a) the professionalism and independence of his nominee to succeed Comey, and (b)whether the Russia probe was negatively impacted in any way:

FBI Documents Show ‘Flawed’ Hillary Clinton Investigation

Newly released documents from the FBI’s criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of highly classified materials highlight a “serious, but flawed investigation hindered by a lack of cooperation,” according to a new report.

Some of the 42 pages are marked “grand jury material,” indicating that the FBI considered the investigation serious enough to prosecute before a grand jury, according to a report by Fox News.

One document shows that one of Clinton’s private attorneys, Katherine Turner, had agreed to turn over one of Clinton’s non-secure Apple iPads and two of her BlackBerrys to the FBI.

However, neither smartphone had SIM cards or Secure Digital (SD) cards, the report said. A total of 13 mobile devices identified by the FBI as potentially using clintonemail.com addresses were never located by Clinton’s lawyers, according to government watchdog group Judicial Watch’s President Tom Fitton.

Some of those devices were pounded with hammers after Clinton’s homebrew servers went down or after news that Clinton aide Sidney Blumenthal’s email had been hacked, the report said.
