Brennan: As Head of The CIA, I Regularly Shared Classified Information With The Russians

Speaking in front of the House Intelligence Committee Tuesday, former CIA Director John Brennan said he regularly shared classified information with the Russians during his time at the intelligence agency.

“I shared classified information with the Russians while I was director of the CIA. The CIA on routine basis shares classified information with Russians on terrorism matters. It doesn’t mean it becomes unclassified, it means that it maintains the classification but is releasable to Russia or other partners so that in itself is not unprecedented,” Brennan said.

The comments come after a week of criticism over President Trump’s alleged sharing of classified information about ISIS with the Russian foreign minister and ambassador during a recent meeting at the White House.  According to the Washington Post, the President shared the intelligence without permission or vetting from the intelligence community. Brennan backed up that assertion “if press reports are true.”

Brennan: No, Trump Hasn’t Pressured The Intelligence Community To Drop The Flynn Investigation

Testifying in front of the House Intelligence Committee Tuesday, former CIA Director John Brennan said he is unaware of any efforts by President Trump or his staff to pressure the intelligence community into dropping the criminal investigation surrounding former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. Brennan served under President Obama.

Ranking Member Adam Schiff: In respect to a number of allegations made recently that the president of his aides may have sought to enlist the help of members the IC [intelligence community] or Director Comey himself to drop the Flynn investigation. Have any members of the IC shared with you their concerns that the president was attempting to enlist the help of people within the intelligence community to drop the Flynn investigation?

The Russian Obsession Goes Back Decades

Just consider the accusations that have been leveled at the president:

  1. He has betrayed the Constitution, which he swore to uphold.
  2. He has committed treason by befriending Russia and other enemies of America.
  3. He has subjugated America’s interests to Moscow.
  4. He has been caught in fantastic lies to the American people, including personal ones, like his previous marriage and divorce.

President Donald Trump?

No, President John F. Kennedy.

What lots of Americans don’t realize, because it was kept secret from them for so long, is that what Trump has been enduring from the national-security establishment, the mainstream press, and the American right-wing for his outreach to, or “collusion with,” Russia pales compared to what Kennedy had to endure for committing the heinous “crime” of reaching out to Russia and the rest of the Soviet Union in a spirit of peace and friendship.

They hated him for it. They abused him. They insulted him. They belittled him. They called him naïve. They said he was a traitor….continue reading

Killing C.I.A. Informants, China Crippled U.S. Spying Operations

The Chinese government systematically dismantled C.I.A. spying operations in the country starting in 2010, killing or imprisoning more than a dozen sources over two years and crippling intelligence gathering there for years afterward.

Current and former American officials described the intelligence breach as one of the worst in decades. It set off a scramble in Washington’s intelligence and law enforcement agencies to contain the fallout, but investigators were bitterly divided over the cause. Some were convinced that a mole within the C.I.A. had betrayed the United States. Others believed that the Chinese had hacked the covert system the C.I.A. used to communicate with its foreign sources. Years later, that debate remains unresolved.

But there was no disagreement about the damage. From the final weeks of 2010 through the end of 2012, according to former American officials, the Chinese killed at least a dozen of the C.I.A.’s sources. According to three of the officials, one was shot in front of his colleagues in the courtyard of a government building — a message to others who might have been working for the C.I.A.

Still others were put in jail. All told, the Chinese killed or imprisoned 18 to 20 of the C.I.A.’s sources in China, according to two former senior American officials, effectively unraveling a network that had taken years to build….continue reading

TRUMP AND ISRAEL: ENEMIES OF THE SYSTEM

The United States is sailing in uncharted waters today as the intelligence-security community wages an all-but-declared rebellion against President Donald Trump.

Deputy Attorney-General Rod Rosenstein’s decision on Wednesday to appoint former FBI director Robert Mueller to serve as a special counsel charged with investigating allegations of “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump,” is the latest and so far most significant development in this grave saga.

Who are the people seeking to unseat Trump? This week we learned that the powers at play are deeply familiar. Trump’s nameless opponents are some of Israel’s greatest antagonists in the US security establishment….continue reading

Trump Told Russians That Firing ‘Nut Job’ Comey Eased Pressure From Investigation

President Trump told Russian officials in the Oval Office this month that firing the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, had relieved “great pressure” on him, according to a document summarizing the meeting.

“I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Mr. Trump said, according to the document, which was read to The New York Times by an American official. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”

Mr. Trump added, “I’m not under investigation.”

The conversation, during a May 10 meeting — the day after he fired Mr. Comey — reinforces the notion that the president dismissed him primarily because of the bureau’s investigation into possible collusion between Mr. Trump’s campaign and Russian operatives. Mr. Trump said as much in one televised interview, but the White House has offered changing justifications for the firing….continue reading

Meet The WaPo: Fake News Ground Zero

For decades now, the Washington Post and New York Times have been read only by left-wing minions of the Democratic Party.  Both are well known propaganda machines of the far left in America.  But the situation changed for the worse in 2016, when Donald Trump became the 45th president of the United States.

Jeffrey P. Bezos formally took over as the owner of The Washington Post in 2013, officially ending 80 years of local control of the newspaper by the Graham family.

Bezos’s $250-million purchase was completed as expected with the signing of sale documents.  The signing transferred the newspaper and other assets from The Washington Post Co. to Nash Holdings, Bezos’s private investment company….continue reading
