Al Gore Refuses To Give Direct Answer When Confronted Over Bogus 2006 Claims On Climate Change

Former Vice President Al Gore failed to directly answer a question recently about some of his controversial climate change claims during recent press availability for his newest documentary on the environment.

In his life post White House, Gore has spent much of his time advocating against climate change and global warming. He released a world-famous documentary in 2006 titled “An Inconvenient Truth.” Many of Gore’s predictions in the documentary never came true, so 11 years later Gore decided to release a sequel to his first film.

The movie, which is set to release this week, is aptly titled, “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power.” According to a synopsis: “The film follows the efforts made to tackle climate change and Al Gore’s attempts to persuade governmental leaders to invest in renewable energy, culminating in the signing of the Paris Climate Agreement in 2016.”

Global Warming: The Imminent Crisis That Never Arrives

It’s summer 2017 and the Arctic was supposed to be ice-free, hurricanes were going to be more frequent and more deadly, and sea levels should be rising alarmingly. Al Gore swore in his 2006 science fiction movie, “An Inconvenient Truth,” that within a decade there would be a “true planetary emergency.”

“Unless we act boldly and quickly to deal with the underlying causes of global warming, our world will undergo a string of terrible catastrophes,” said Gore in the movie’s introduction.

The grand storyteller also predicted in 2011 that “there will be no more snows” on Mt. Kilimanjaro “within the decade.”

NASA: Key Antarctic Glacier Not Melting As Rapidly

Al Gore thinks the weather has been out of the Book of Revelation, while Timeand ABC News have reported that Antarctica is melting very quickly. Now, it’s not (via NASA):

The melt rate of West Antarctica’s Thwaites Glacier is an important concern, because this glacier alone is currently responsible for about 1 percent of global sea level rise. A new NASA study finds that Thwaites’ ice loss will continue, but not quite as rapidly as previous studies have estimated.
The new study, published in the journal Geophysical Research Letters, finds that numerical models used in previous studies have overestimated how rapidly ocean water is able to melt the glacier from below, leading them to overestimate the glacier’s total ice loss over the next 50 years by about 7 percent.

Al Gore Misleads Yet Again: We’re Seeing ‘Book Of Revelation’ Weather

Speaking with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Sunday, former Vice President Al Gore said the United States is seeing “Book of Revelation” weather because of anthropogenic climate change:

“We’re still not changing fast enough. It’s not just the scientific community warning us now. It’s Mother Nature. Every night on the TV news is like a nature hike through the Book of Revelation. 70 percent of Florida is in drought right now. Missouri just declared an emergency with another one of these historic climate-related downpours.”

Fox News’ Chris Wallace Confronts Al Gore With His Failed Global Warming Predictions

“Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace confronted former Vice President Al Gore on his 2006 claim that unless drastic action was taken humanity would face a “true planetary emergency” in the next decade.

“Unless we take drastic measures the world would reach a point of no return within 10 years,” which Gore said would precipitate a “true planetary crisis” due to man-made global warming.

Wallace pointed out it’s been 11 years since Gore made the claim in his 2006 film “An Inconvenient Truth,” and there doesn’t seem to be a planetary emergency.

So did Gore admit he was wrong? Of course not!
