How Approval Polls And ‘Junk’ Journalism Are Fake Views Pushed By Fake News

The latest rod by which to beat the President of the United States is a Washington Post/ABC News poll showing Mr. Trump’s approval ratings languishing at 36 per cent.

Americans across the board appear, on first take, to be well out of love with the new President. But the “small print” on the polls reveals something quite disturbing about the methodology of the group responsible.

The poll was performed by AbtAssociates — a swamp dweller-staffed research and policy shop in Cambridge, MA.

AbtAssociates board members include former Bob Dole, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Planned Parenthood, World Bank, and Deloitte staffers. In other words, it is a microcosm of the party of Davos.

But that in itself doesn’t rule AbtAssociates out from doing decent work. What might, however, is the underlying philosophy behind political polling, and the methodology they use to conduct it.

Misunderstandings Of “Fake News”: The Origins And Meaning Of “Fake News”

Last week, CNN thrust itself into what could very well be the biggest scandal in the history of the American media.

And it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving group of people.

However, that the fake journalists at CNN are as deserving as anyone to be called out for what they are doesn’t mean that there aren’t legions of others in the media who aren’t as deserving of the same.

The only difference between the fake journalists at CNN and fake journalists at MSNBC; ABC; CBC; NBC; The New York Times; The Washington Post; and numerous other media organizations is that CNN got caught red handed in the act of cooking their anti-Trump story of choice: the Vast Left-wing Russian “Collusion” Conspiracy.

Trump’s Twitter Attack: Cause Or Effect?

It was Aristotle who first ruminated over which came first, the chicken or the egg. “There could not have been a first egg to give a beginning to birds,” he declared, “or there would have been a first bird which gave a beginning to eggs; for a bird comes from an egg.”

Leaving aside how little Donald J. Trump resembles the “philosopher-kings” envisioned by Aristotle’s protégé Plato in “The Republic,” a similar question vexes us today. It, too, initially sounds frivolous, while actually carrying significant implications: In our modern republic, MSNBC’s audience leans left, while Fox News’ leans right. Here’s the question worth contemplating: Which came first, the partisan programming or the ideologically minded audience?

Study: TV News Is Obsessed With Trump-Russia Probe

How much has the media’s obsession with the ongoing Russia investigation smothered the rest of the Trump policy agenda? A Media Research Center study of every broadcast network evening newscast in the five weeks since the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller on May 17 found a whopping 353 minutes of airtime devoted to the Russia probe, or 55 percent of all coverage of the Trump presidency during those weeks.

The networks’ relentless coverage of Russia meant little airtime was spent on important policy topics, as the investigation garnered 20 times more attention than the new health care bill, 100 times more attention than the administration’s push to improve the nation’s infrastructure, and a stunning 450 times more coverage than the push for comprehensive tax reform.

The study also found one-third (34%) of the networks’ Russia coverage was based on anonymous sources, some of which later proved erroneous.

Planned Parenthood 2nd Biggest Spender In Ossoff Campaign

Money can’t buy everything. And, whether the media will report it or not, America’s largest abortion provider is proving to be a damning campaign financer.

On Tuesday night, Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff lost to Republican Jon Ossoff in Georgia’s sixth district special election despite raising $23 million. And while the media raced to spin the news, the broadcast networks left out one juicy tidbit: Planned Parenthood was the second largest spender (or, rather, loser) supporting Ossoff in the costly campaign.

Planned Parenthood Action Fund funneled hundreds of thousands on Ossoff in what NBC correspondent Gabe Gutierrez heralded as the “most expensive House race ever.” According to data from the Federal Election Comission, compiled by Susan B. Anthony’s public policy vice president, Planned Parenthood spent a whopping $734,760.

Comey Testimony Shoots Down CNN, ABC “Anonymous Sources” Fake News

You can always rely on “anonymous sources”. Especially when they’re presented by a biased media with a nakedly partisan agenda. Anonymous sources say, “Trust us”.

Like ABC’s Comey story based on anonymous sources.

Although Comey has told associates he will not accuse the president of obstructing justice, he will dispute the president’s contention that Comey told him three times he is not under investigation.

So much for that.

ABC, NBC Disparage Intelligence Chiefs As Anonymous Reports Collapse

In the days and hours leading up to a hearing of the Senate’s Intelligence Committee on Wednesday, the Big Three Networks (ABC, CBC, and NBC) were giddy at the prospect of two heads of U.S. intelligence agencies fingering President Trump in a plot to shut down the Russian investigation. But after the two and a half hour long hearing, they weren’t kicking themselves for getting their hopes up, they were kicking Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and NSA Director Michael Rogers for not giving them what they wanted.

During their testimonies, both DNI Coats and NSA Director Rogers told the panel of Senators that they had never felt like President Trump was trying to influence them to interfere with any investigation. “I do not recall ever feeling pressured to do so,” said Rogers, while Coats said, “I never felt pressure to intervene or interfere in any way.” Their sworn public testimony goes against press reports that cite anonymous sources who claim both men were pressured by Trump to interfere with the FBI’s investigation.

The statements by the intelligence chiefs didn’t sit well with ABC and NBC who smeared them as stonewalling the committee. “Top intelligence officials facing questions about reports the President asked some of them to get involved in the FBI’s Russia investigation,” reported Chief White House Correspondent Hallie Jackson on NBC Nightly News. “Asked to elaborate, they didn’t.” That was followed up by a series of quick clips of heated questioning:
