The Supreme Court Recently Sided With Pro-Life Pregnancy Centers. The Ripple Effect Has Begun.

Pregnancy centers were victorious at the Supreme Court earlier this summer, and that win is having a major ripple effect.

In NIFLA v. Becerra, the court ruled 5-4 that states cannot require pro-life pregnancy centers to post advertisements promoting abortion, holding that such laws would violate the free speech rights of those centers. The ruling struck down a 2015 California law that had done just that.

This ruling is already being felt in Hawaii, where just last month a district court judge issued a permanent injunction against a similar law, taking into account the legal precedent set in the NIFLA v. Becerra decision. The June Supreme Court ruling is also taking effect to unwind other legislative attacks, including those in San Francisco and Baltimore, designed to compel speech and undermine the mission of pro-life pregnancy centers.

4 Reasons Why ‘Climate Change’ Is A Flat-Out Hoax

First, a disclaimer: I am not a climate scientist.  In fact, I am not a scientist of any kind.  But I do have a degree in electrical engineering, which I mention only to point out that I am at least as qualified as the next non-scientist to form rational opinions about global warming claims.

In obtaining my degree, I took enough classes in chemistry, physics, and geology to develop a keen appreciation of the scientific method, the best way ever devised for winnowing the truth from fakery and deception.  If taking the scientific method into account, no intelligent person can fail to see that the constant drumbeat of wild and hysterical claims about the climate are insults to the search for Truth.

Following are four reasons why I will bet my life that “climate change” is the greatest scientific and political hoax in human history.

Black Holes Can’t Explain Dark Matter

A new study shows the universe’s mysterious missing matter can’t be attributed entirely to black holes.

The hunt for a dark matter explanation seems endless, but now we can mostly rule out one often mentioned potential culprit: black holes.

“The idea of primordial black holes as dark matter is quite old, with some papers already in the ’70s when Stephen Hawking and others proposed it,” said lead study author Miguel Zumalacárregui of the Berkeley Center for Cosmological Physics. Scientists couldn’t find any proof for the idea in the ’90s, and it started to fade away as an explanation. But the 2015 detection of gravitational waves re-ignited consideration for black holes as an explanation for dark matter.

Now, after analyzing 740 of the brightest supernovae, or exploding massive stars, discovered since 2014, scientists have found none that appear to be magnified or brightened by black hole “gravitational lenses.” Gravitational lenses are an effect where black holes magnify bright objects behind them….

ObamaCare Premiums Set To Fall For First Time After Rising 117% Under Obama

In what could be one of the greatest – if not the greatest – political irony in recent memory, new data on Obamacare plan premiums released this week by the Department of Health and Human Services revealed that ObamaCare premiums will decline by an average of 1.5% next year, marking the first year-over-year decline in the program’s history. While lower health-care costs should be a boon for for not just the working class, but also those unreasonably wealthy Americans earning $50,000 a year or more who don’t have access to subsidies under the program, the simple fact that Republicans are doing a better job managing ObamaCare than Democrats did could create an intractable political problem for Dems running in swing states, who will now be left with the difficult task of explaining exactly how and why the Trump administration – which they have blamed for doing everything in its power to gut the program – is actually doing a better job of running ObamaCare than the Democrats did….

Trump Just Hit Feinstein And Harris With Payback; And They’re ANGRY

After the Kavanaugh debacle President Trump has decided to buck tradition and gave California Senators Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris a taste of their own medicine, and they’re PISSED:

President Trump is plowing ahead to fill three vacancies on the liberal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, brushing aside Democratic resistance to nominate conservative judges.

Presidents traditionally work with senators from judicial nominees’ home state — in this case, California — to put forward judicial picks. They often seek what’s known as a “blue slip,” or an opinion from those senators.

But in a snub to California Democratic Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris, the White House announced Wednesday that Trump had nominated Patrick Bumatay, Daniel Collins and Kenneth Kiyul Lee (all from the Golden State, and reportedly all members of the conservative Federalist Society) to the influential circuit. The court, with a sprawling purview representing nine Western states, has long been a thorn in the side of the Trump White House, with rulings against the travel ban and limits on funding to “sanctuary cities.”

GOP critics have branded the court the “Nutty 9th,” in part because many of its rulings have been overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court….

NASA’s Plan To Save Earth From The Yellowstone Supervolcano

Even though we are constantly being told by scientists not to worry about the Yellowstone supervolcano, NASA is now on a mission to save the Earth from exactly that. NASA has ambitious plans to prevent the extinction of the human race by drilling into the supervolcano.

According to the BBC, NASA researchers got in touch with the media outlet to detail the threat lurking beneath Wyoming’s crust and what they think they can do about it before it eliminates humanity.  NASA contacted the BBC after they published an article about supervolcanoes last month.

There are around 20 known supervolcanoes on Earth, with major eruptions occurring on average once every 100,000 years. One of the greatest threats an eruption may pose is thought to be starvation, with a prolonged volcanic winter potentially prohibiting civilization from being able to grow enough food for the current population. In 2012, the United Nations estimated that food reserves worldwide would last a mere 74 days after such an event….
