Trump Cancels Small-Business Enrollment On HealthCare.gov

Says companies should work directly with insurers

The Trump administration said Monday it is canceling small-business enrollment on the federal Obamacare website, arguing the few employers who actually use the portal might as well work directly with insurance companies and brokers instead.

In its announcement, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said the Obama administration’s push to sell the Small Business Health Options Program, or SHOP, had been a flop in the 33 states covered by HealthCare.gov, with fewer than 40,000 workers covered…. continue reading
